Patrick Kane didn’t say much during his first public appearance since his arrest in Buffalo. Frankly, there wasn’t much he could say because of the ongoing legal proceedings.
But it was a much different Kane than Blackhawks fans are used to seeing, as the Tribune’s Chris Kuc points out. The perpetual innocence in his look disappeared with the guilt of a battered image, and Kane’s boyish look sat buried under custom-taylored clothing in hopes of showing maturity. He attempted to rebuild his image with a suit and tie.

The Buffalo News reports that Jan Radecki, 62, did not have a valid driver’s license at the time of the alleged attack by Patrick Kane and his cousin.
Forgetting the fact that Radecki’s picture to the right exceeds the highest level on the Unintentional Comedy Scale, this idiot has been driving around citizens of Buffalo without a liscense since it was revoked in February 1999. AND the city of Buffalo licensed him for another cab in 2003 — without a license.
All of this after Radecki was convicted of two DUIs within five months.
Can this situation get anymore ridiculous? Maybe that’s why Radecki’s [...]

In a town just waiting for Terrell Owens to make his first stupid move, a 20-year-old, baby-faced All-American Boy who plays for the damn Blackhawks suddenly became Buffalo’s new badass.
Patrick Kane plays a sport most known for its fighting. He’s been singled out on the ice by opponents, smashed into the boards, slashed, tripped, poked… you name it — and he’s never once dropped his gloves in the NHL.
But 20 cents? Two dimes? Four nickels? Oh, now it’s time to rumble.
Where was T.O. this weekend? Playing an organized football game on national television without incident. He even found it in [...]
