Blackhawks swap AHL goalies, disappoint meatheads

While I’m sure all the meatballs shit themselves when they heard news the Blackhawks traded for goaltending depth, it’s not a meatball type of trade.

The Blackhawks and Blues have swapped AHL players two days before the trade deadline. The ‘Hawks acquired goalie Hannu Toivonen with defenseman and Chicago native Danny Richmond — who have both been assigned to Rockford — for goaltender Joe Fallon.

Sorry, meatballs. Cristobal Huet and Antti Niemi are still your goaltending duo on the big club. Q-Stache also announced today Niemi will start in net tomorrow night in Long Island when the Blackhawks face the New York Islanders.

Interesting. More on that later.
