Congrats to Jonathan Toews, Brent Seabrook and Duncan Keith winning a gold medal after Canada defeated the United States 3-2 in overtime Sunday. Patrick Kane will bring home a silver medal, and hopefully that’s not the only piece of silver he holds this season. You know, because the Stanley Cup is made of silver. See what I did there.

Big ups though to Toews, who was named the star forward of the Olympic tournament. The kid proved to everyone in the world that he should get more attention as an elite player.

Since I’m pretty upset about Canada winning that game, I’ll let you go to the video for this one. Damnit, anyone but F-ing Sidney Crosby.

Every American watching this game sat back and waited for something to happen. No way could this game end with an uneventful finish. With an empty net on one end, Zach Parise tied the game with 24.4 second left to send the game to overtime.

Then the asshole did this and ruined my afternoon.
