One Day Left! Nothing New

The clock is ticking and Gary Bettman had a press conference to basically say there is nothing new to report! If you want to watch nothing new click here.

One day left and unless something drastic changes there will be a lockout tomorrow.  The owners don’t want to start another season without a new CBA.  The owners want the players percentage to be smaller obviously.  The players want to keep their percentages.  That’s a stalemate!

Bettman did say that they will meet and negotiate any time or  any place.  I suppose that’s a good sign but if they aren’t negotiating but just standing still nothing will happen.  This is disheartening and really ludicrous by the NHLPA.  Get a deal done and get back  on the ice!! There is reportedly over 275 players in New York meeting with the NHLPA, too bad they are in meeting rooms and not in a hockey rink!

Bettman stated that the lockout will happen at 11:59 if there is no new CBA.  Hopefully there will be good news to report sometime this weekend instead of the rich and richer fighting over percentages and running off their fans.
