The fallout from yesterday’s disaster in Toronto started today as the NHL cancelled all remaining games for the month of October. The season was suppose to start on October 11th, and Gary Bettman’s latest proposal had the season starting November 2nd ,so today’s announcement doesn’t come as a shock, but it does come more as the owners response to the NHLPA threesome of offers yesterday.

As stated here the target date I believe to get the season started is the Winter Classic, that is when both the NHL owners and NBC have to get the season started just like the NBA last season and it’s unofficial Christmas Day start to the season.

There were 135 games scheduled in the month of October and now they RIP forever and are another feather in the cap of Donald Fehr the American Sports Serial Killer!  I hope all that are involved enjoy losing money and potential fans! Have fun in Siberia or practicing at open ice time at the local ice rink!! It sure does look like November will have the same fate as October.

END THE LOCKOUT!!!
