On this date in Chicago Blackhawks history,

On December 26, 1943 Bill Mosienko collected his first of three hat tricks in his Chicago Blackhawks career. Mosienko would score another hat trick three weeks later on January 13, 1944. Mosienko played for the Blackhawks for 14 seasons and 705 games.  He tallied 258 goals and helped out on 282 goals.

The 1943-1944 season would be Mosienko’s highest goal scoring season with 32. Even though his last season with the Blackhawks was 1955, he still ranks 8th all-time on the Blackhawks goal scoring list.
