Fan Poll: Boychuk’s Hit On Toews Suspension Worthy?

Two of the best players on both teams Patrice Bergeron and Jonathan Toews both left never skated in the third period.  Bergeron left the United Center in an ambulance without being touched by anybody.

Toews is a different story after getting hit by Johnny Boychuk near the head.  The experts say that the hit was ok because he hit Toews in the shoulders before he slammed his head into the ice.  I disagree it isn’t a safe play to be cross checking anybody that high even if the first thing touched is the shoulders.  Either way Toews didn’t play in the third period and is a question mark for Monday night in Boston. Here is the video evidence.

Total cheap shot to the head. To think this is legal, you’d have to be an idiot or a Bruins fan. But I repeat myself…

Boston fans are calling Hawks fans cry babies but if Bolland had done that to Krejci they would be up in arms wanting him suspended for life! The Bruins were targeting Toews head all night. Boychuk connected and should sit out Game 6

What in the hell does David Krejci have to do with anything? Your little JonJon ran his mouth all week, and he got hit cleanly. He then, picks himself up, goes to the dressing room for a few minutes to make it look good, and then he and his coach decide that he should sit on the end of the bench like a little b###h for the rest of the game. If he had a head injury NHL rules dictate that he go to the “quiet room”. So don’t worry Hawks fans, the Hawks Captain isn’t hurt, he’s just a coward.
