The Chicago Blackhawks open the 2013-2014 NHL season on Tuesday October 1st, at the United Center, against the Washington Capitals.  This game will also, likely be the night the Hawks will raise the banner that commemorates the team’s 2013 Stanley Cup Championship, to the rafters of the U.C.

There will be a break in the schedule for the 2014 Winter Olympics, as NHL players will once again be competing in the games.  The Hawks won’t play any games from February 8th to February 26th.

Here’s a link to the Blackhawks’ official 2013-2014 schedule.

While last season’s lockout shortened sprint to the playoffs was exciting(especially for Hawks fans), it sure is nice to see a full 82-game schedule again.
