After the first week of regular season hockey here are the power rankings.

30.Buffalo Sabres 0-3: The Sabres are 0-3 and now Ryan Miller is hurt. Miller is day to day, that will really help his trade value. Things are can’t get any worse for the Sabres, can they?

29. Nashville Predators 0-2: The free agent additions have not delivered a victory yet. Pekka Rinne has struggled.

28. Philadelphia Flyers 0-2: The Flyers ride themselves from Ilya Bryzalov in offseason. He signed with an ECHL team this week. So who are the Flyers faithful going to blame for the poor start now?

27. Edmonton Oilers 0-2: The Oilers have a new coaching staff and new management. They are currently not getting the results they intended.

26. Florida Panthers 1-1: Tim Thomas was good in their first game that resulted in a victory. In his second game back, he gave 5 goals. It’s early but it seems as Tim Thomas goes so does the Panthers.

25.Calgary Flames 1-0-1: After the first week Calgary is second in the pacific division. Enjoy this while it lasts Calgary, it won’t be long.

24. Tampa Bay Lighting 1-1: Tampa Bay defeated the Blackhawks last night in S/o. How long can their last place goal tending hold up?

22. Winnipeg Jets 2-0: The Jets are off to hot start after week 1. IT IS STILL EARLY!

21. Colorado Avalanche2-0 : Patrick Roy has been the igniter of the Avs. He has already been fined for his behavior this season. Nathan MacKinnon has made his presence known already this season.
