Minnesota Wild Vs Chicago Blackhawks Prediction Thread

May 9, 2013; Chicago, IL, USA; The Chicago Blackhawks shake hands with the Minnesota Wild after eliminating them in game five of the first round of the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs at the United Center. The Blackhawks beat the Wild 5-1. Mandatory Credit: Rob Grabowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Blackhawks meet the Minnesota Wild for the first time this season, and for the first time since the Blackhawks eliminated the Wild in 5 games last offseason.  Thursday night, the Chicago Blackhawks finally scored a third period goal, but they lost the battle in overtime.

Last Game Prediction- I picked the Hawks winning 3-2 in a shootout with Patrick Kane scoring a goal

Last Game Result- The Blackhawks lost in overtime with Patrick Kane scoring a goal and assist so another close but no cigar!

Tonight’s game- The Blackhawks made some roster moves and have shaken some things up so tonight’s predictions will not be a 3-2 shootout win as promised.  The moves with young players in the game to prove themselves leads to an avalanche of goals at the United Center.

Jonathan Toews who scored the easiest goal of his career late Thursday night will build momentum and score twice while Brandon Pirri picks up a goal and an assist in a 5-1 Blackhawks victory.
