The Chicago Blackhawks didn’t have as many highlights as the Minnesota Wild did on Saturday night, but they did have some pretty looking plays during the 5-3 loss at the United Center.  The Blackhawks lone powerplay goal on 7 chances was a nice looking goal with a double five-hole! First Jonathan Toews put it between the defenders legs, and then Patrick Kane finished it wih one between Backstrom’s legs! The Hawks had some momentum after this goal, but it wouldn’t last long enough for a comeback.

Jeremy Morin made a nice play to hold it, but it was Leddy’s feed to Bryan Bickell and Bickell’s patience that put the puck in the back of the net. Bickell after a really slow start now has 4 goals in 4 games.

Marcus Kruger picks up the last goal of  the night in the Too little Too late category.  It was good to see Kruger get his first of the season, and hopefully this will give Kruger’s game some offensive momentum in the coming week!
