“Scary” in the world of the NHL has several meanings. Some players are scary because of the fear they put into smaller skaters that they were planning on crushing in the neutral zone. Others are scary because at any point in the game they can take the puck end to end and score with the greatest of ease. And a large number of players are scary because frankly, their mugs can be used as Halloween masks. This is the criteria for the “Scariest” Blackhawks opponents of all-time and though Alex Ovechkin is both scary good and scary ugly, he didn’t make the final cut for this Hallow’s eve list.
