Chicago returns to Big D and the home of their biggest blowout of the 2013 shortened season. The Blackhawks have been averaging 4.52 goals per game in their last 7 games and look to put more pucks in the net in Dallas. Dallas is 3-1-2 at American Airlines Arena while the Hawks have been pretty good away from the United Center going 4-1-1.
The Blackhawks new division is not letting up in the early part of the season so as always picking up 2 points on the road against the new Divisional rival Dallas Stars could set the tone for the rest of the season.

Tonight’s Lines are the same as practice yesterday except for one glowing exception! For reasons only known to Joel Quenneville Sheldon Brookbank will be starting on the third line instead of Jeremy Morin. The Hawks never practice with Brookbank on the third line so playing him there makes absolutely no sense. Whatever Morin did or didn’t do getting two straight healthy scratches is silly especailly when getting replaced by Brookbank.
