24.  Carolina Hurricanes 8-10-5: The Hurricanes have lost three out of their last four games. Blair Jones was recalled from the AHL this week. He has registered 20 points in the AHL this season. He scored a goal with the Flames in his first game back.

23. The Philadelphia Flyers 10-10-2: The Flyers are on a three game winning streak. The Flyers won all three games on their home stand. Claude Giroux is still struggling this season.  He has 2 goals and 11 assists on the season.  Note to Claude, no golf next offseason.

22. Ottawa Senators 9-10-4: Last week the Senators were white hot winning three out of four. This week they were the opposite losing three out of their last four.  Bobby Ryan has 10 goals and 10 assists on the season.

21. NY Rangers: 12-11-0: Last week the Rangers were 9-9-0, this week they are 11-11-0. They are definition of a 500 team. They did win their last game so hopefully they can get some momentum off the win. More than likely they will win two and then lose two.  The King, Henrik Lundqvist is 7-9-0 with a 2.36 goals against.

20: New Jersey Devils 9-9-5: The Devils have won three in a row. Jaromir Jagr tied Gordie Howe record of game winning goals at 121. It was the 7 year anniversary of Jagr breaking the record for most goals by a European player. Remember everyone including me said Martin Brodeur was done, well he is 7-3-2 with a 2.03 goals against on the season.

19. Winnipeg Jets 10-11-4: The Jets were put the test in their last four games and it showed. They are 0-2-2 in their last four. Devin Setoguchi has not been the same player since leaving San Jose.  Remember he had 65 points with San Jose in 2008-09. He has not come close to that type of production since.

18. Nashville Predators 11-10-2: The Predators have an impressive three wins in a row. They defeated the Red Wings, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Chicago Blackhawks. The young Marek Mazanec got all three starts and went 3-0. He recorded his first NHL shutout against the Detroit Red Wings.

17. The Dallas Stars 11-8-2: The Stars went 1-1 this past week. Kari Lehtonen might be one of the best kept secrets in the NHL. He is 10-4-1 with a 2.08 goals against on the season. Tyler Seguin has 12 goals and 11 assists this season. Seguin had 32 points in 48 games last season. This season has 23 in 21 games. Did Boston make a mistake?

16. Detroit Red wings 10-7-7: The Red Wings are struggling with a record of 2-3-5 in their last ten games. The Red Wings rank 22nd in goals for this season. Are the Red Wings finally showing their age?
