1-1  -  PPG – Patrick Kane (18) Wrist shot – ASST: Marian Hossa (15), Duncan Keith (27)

The Blackhawks seemed to have figured out the secret to the PP.  Puck movement, screens, and shooting.  The Hawks got lucky on this one, but you create your own luck when you do the right things.  Kane’s pass gets tipped in by Phaneuf, but a goals a goal and the Hawks needed all the help they could get in this one.

2-3  -  Patrick Kane (19) Wrist shot – ASST: Niklas Hjalmarsson (11)

Kane has really taken a step forward with his game on and off the puck.  Kane isn’t looking to dish the puck every play, and he is keeping the goalies honest.  Kane comes charging in from the boards with options, and he rips it past Bernier.  The Blackhawks didn’t have much going for them on Saturday, but at least Kane was trying his hardest to keep the Hawks in it.

3-6 – Brandon Saad (12) Tip-in – ASST: Nick Leddy (12), Jonathan Toews (17). GIF by Joe Kremel of BlackhawkUp.com feed from the NHL & WGN

3-6  -  Brandon Saad (12) Tip-in – ASST: Nick Leddy (12), Jonathan Toews (17)

The Blackhawks would get one last one on the board with a blast from Leddy which was tipped in by Brandon Saad.  Unfortunately for the Blackhawks, these three highlights could not make up for the 7 lowlights they let in.  At least they showed up for the Kings.

FINAL SCORE:  Blackhawks 3  -  Leafs 7
