Niklas Hjalmarsson makes a great pass out to Jonathan Toews to get out of the zone. Toews passes it up to Marian Hossa who gets Jonas Hiller to move enough to create an opening. Hossa fires a quick wrister which beats Hiller. This was a great way to open the scoring against the Ducks who were red hot on the power play.

Kris Versteeg left the game with an injury at the end of the second after coliding with Bryan Bickell. Luckily, Versteeg got the Blackhawks a second goal before he made his early exit. Steeger follows a bouncing puck towards the front of the net and pops it in past Hiller.

Bryan Bickell comes up big for the Blackhawks with a strong hustle play. Cam Fowler looks to have a step on Bickell, but Bicks blows right by him and gets a lucky bounce off of Hiller that trickles in.

Marian Hossa takes advantage of Cam Fowler as he out muscles him for the puck. With Fowler spinning helplessly on the ice Hossa had a tap in. With that goal the Hawks would put an end to an 8 game win streak, and score 4 goals on a team that has been letting up 3 or fewer.
