The last time Soldier Field hosted a game it was a dissapointing 33-28 loss by the Chicago Bears to the Green Bay Packers. The Bears haven’t won a Championship since the Monsters of the Midway met the Super Bowl Shuffle in 1985.

The Blackhawks have won 2 Stanley Cups in 4 seasons and now for one night will be the proud home team at Soldier Field.  A lot of work went into getting the sometimes sloppy Soldier Field ready for NHL hockey, but it is fun to watch the video time-lapse of Soldier Field from a football field to a Hockey rink.

We are on day away from the second outdoor game in Blackhawks history with the Hawks hosting both of their games.  Will you be at Soldier Field tomorrow night or will you be watching in the comforts of a warm place!
