The early report is in and it looks not to serious but it is still a significant injury. According to NBC announcer Pierre McGuire Kane’s leg injury is a two week injury. This of course is a preliminary report which has not been confirmed from the Blackhawks organization.

Kane had his leg/ankle caught underneath Brendan Morrow after a Sheldon Brookbank collision that Kane was just an innocent bystander.

Chris Kuc from the Chicago Tribune reported that it wasn’t too serious and I suppose two weeks isn’t in the grand scheme of things.  The two week period  would have Kane back well before the playoffs would  begin but probably won’t stop the Teuvo hype machine.

After the game Joel Quenneville said that Kane is out three weeks with a lower body injury which basically ends his regular season.

Kane again according to reports is out for two weeks if there is any other reports we will have you updated on the site and Twitter.
