Chicago Blackhawks: What's On Tap This Week

The Chicago Blackhawks week begins with 3 days off at probably the best possible time with the troops banged up and on a 3 game losing streak. The good news is that Bryan Bickell should be back in the lineup on Thursday night,

The Week starts off Thursday night back at the United Center which the Hawks haven’t seen since March 25th which is also the last Hawks win. The Hawks play the Minnesota Wild who are currently sitting in the first wild card position with a 6 point lead on Dallas which is on the outside looking in so every point is huge for the Wild in punching there playoff spot. Bickell should be back in the lineup Thursday night.

The Blackhawks play in back to back games on Friday night when they make their only appearance in Columbus. The Blue Jackets are in the 8th spot one point ahead of the Washington Capitals in the Eastern Conference. Last season the Blue Jackets ran out of time in their bid to make the playoffs so the question is now that they currently hold a playoff spot will they pick up enough points to secure that spot in the East.  The Hawks owned Columbus when they played in the Central division so most Hawks fans will be looking for a Chicago victory on Friday night.

The week ends with the St Louis Blues returning to the scene of the crime at the United Center Sunday morning. The last time the Blues visited Chicago Patrick Kane was injured and placed on LTIR which ended his regular season.  It also was the Blue first Central Division loss in the season so even though the Hawks will be short handed on the NBC National Sunday game will the Hawks be able to send one last message before the playoffs or will the Blues be out for revenge.

What game are you looking forward to the most this week?
