The Frozen Four is set and the Chicago Blackhawks will have 5 prospects left to cheer for when the Finals begin on April 10th from Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia. After Notre Dame was eliminated the biggest Blackhawks prospect by far left in the tournament is Kevin Hayes of Boston College. Hayes already has had a very good tournament scoring 3 goals and 4 assists in Boston College’s 2 wins. There has been two different stories about Hayes from the Hawks aren’t going to sign him to Hayes will be targeting to sign Hayes as soon as the Frozen Four tournament is completed. Hayes has had a great season for the Eagles and his teammate Chris Calnan is also a Hawks prospect that has advanced to the Frozen Four. Boston College faces Union in the semi-final matchup.
North Dakota has advanced to the Finals and has two Blackhawks prospects on the team. Defensman Junior Nick Matteson picked up 2 assists in the Ferris State victory that helped North Dakota advance to Philly. Freshman Luke Johnson has played in both games without cracking the scoresheet. North Dakota faces the University of Minnesota in the semifinal at Philly and the Gophers have one Blackhawks prospect in senior Justin Holl. Holl has picked up an assist in both of Minnesota’s victories on their way to the Frozen Four.
