The Chicago Blackhawks continue their mastery of Games #4-7 with a Game #6 victory they are now 13-1 in those games in the past two playoff seasons, and now they now advance to the 2nd round of the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs and will wait for the winner of the Colorado Avalanche/ Minnesota Wild series (Game #6 Monday Night).

Jonathan Toews scored on the powerplay in the first minute of the third period to give the Hawks a 2-1 lead and it gives Jonathan Toews 3 game winning goals in the series and the new franchise lead in playoff game winners with 9 breaking the tie with Jeremy Roenick.

The only part that some could see as disappointing is that the history segment didn’t continue to repeat itself after the Patrick Sharp goal that wouldn’t let the final end at 2-1.

The real #1 star of the game has to be Corey Crawford for keeping the Hawks in the game in the 2nd period when the Blues had an endless parade of powerplays, the Blues had their chances but came up short once again.

The HAWKS Win the game and the series after being down 2-0 in the series!!!

THE HEART OF A CHAMPION!!!
