All Four Blackhawks Game Winning Goals Against St. Louis

The Blackhawks took the Blues in 6 games with four straight victories.  The game winning goals came from Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and Jonathan Toews!!! So it’s safe to say this was a big series for the Captain! Here is one last look back at the Game Winner’s from the opening series win.

The first game winning goal is the least dramatic with Toews scoring on what looked like an innocent wrist shot that somehow beat Ryan Miller.  Corey Crawford would make that goal stand up with his best performance of the Blue series in the 2-0 victory.

The second game winning goal of the series was a dramatic masterpiece by Patrick Kane in overtime. The Hawks had tied the game up late in the third period and with Kane’s OT goal had used the Blues blueprint for winning home games in the series. Kane added to his legend with his third career Overtime goal.

Jonathan Toews 2nd game winning goal of the series was huge as the Hawks final won a game in St. Louis! Like many other games in the series the Hawks looked great at times and really bad at times, but when Duncan Keith fired the puck down the middle of the ice just to clear the zone it hit Toews tape perfectly and a 3-2 series win was only seconds away after Toews tucked the puck perfectly behind Miller.

Gif ToewsThe last game winning goal of the series was a created by a great play at the blue line by Duncan Keith and a nice little move by Toews to get by a diving Blues player.  The game finished 5-1 but was in serious doubt with Blackhawks fans in a bit of a panic mode on Twitter when Toews put it past Miller for the lead that the Hawks would never give up.

Four wins and four great goal well three great goals and one that was lucky to find the back of the net.  Either way they all look great on Victory Monday!! Which goal was your favorite? Mine of course was all of them!
