Jeremy Morin Will Be Looking To Solidify Playing Time Tonight

After this morning’s skate it looks like Jeremy Morin will get his 2nd crack at playoff hockey with a Game #4 start in the Minnesota Series.  Morin played one other game in the series in Game #2 but he was on the ice on the only Wild goal on Sunday afternoon and was a healthy scratch on Tuesday night.

Now that Morin has found himself back in the lineup for the second time in the playoffs and this series it’s time for #11 to make his mark and force Joel Quenneville to play Morin the rest of the playoffs and remove any cloud of doubt for Q to healthy scratch #11 the rest of the playoffs.

Morin should have a three-fold plan for tonight’s game

1. Find a way on the scoresheet. It doesn’t have to be pretty it doesn’t have to end up on Sportscenter or NHL Network but get on the scoresheet. Do whatever it takes crash the net, put in a rebound, be the hardest worker out there and get on the scoresheet.

2. Be the Player that sends Stoner and Cooke a message. With Matt Cooke in the lineup tonight, the Hawks have two guys to watch out for with Stoner already put his name on the series when he knocked out Andrew Shaw.  Nobody has been up to the task to hit Stoner (legally) so Morin should put on his great teammate helmet on and send a message in Game #4 instead of letting these two tee off on Blackhawks players

3. Most Importantly Make every second count!  Morin will unlikely get a ton of ice time, but when Quenneville calls his number, Morin has to make every second of ice time count.  Morin was great in the final two weeks of the season and now he has a chance to solidify a playing spot for the playoffs.

Make it count #11!!!
