Blackhawks Top 100- #82 Dustin Byfuglien

We’re heading into the dog days of the offseason, counting the days until the Chicago Blackhawks 2014 Season kicks off. We’re going to do a Top 100 list of all time Chicago Blackhawks. It’s a fun way to pass the time and take a stroll down Memory Lane.

Dustin Byfuglien was a 2003 Blackhawks draftee (245th Overall)

Regular Season Stats

Games- 260

Goals- 45

Assists- 54

Plus/Minus- -15

Penalty Minutes- 268

Game Winning Goals- 12

Post Season Stats

Game Winning Goals- 5

Dustin Byfuglien really began to shine in the 2010 Stanley Cup run for the Blackhawks.

That year, he had 11 goals and 5 assists including a couple of timely hat-tricks. The reasoning for that I believe is the fact that Joel Quenneville moved him from the blue line and placed him on the 1st line left wing.

Byfuglien was shipped out to the Atlanta Thrashers, now the Winnipeg Jets, after the 2010 Stanley Cup. He continues to be an integral piece of the rebuild in Winnipeg.

What do you think? Too high, too low, or should he not be on this list at all?
