Patrick Kane is having a fantastic month of July.  First he signed a 10.5 million dollar extension for 8 years more years and to add to his acting resume he is a featured athlete in a new Gatorade commercial.  Kane along with sport stars Dwayne Wade, J.J. Watt and Bryce Harper make up the short Gatorade spot.

This of course isn’t the first national spot Kane has been in but it’s great to see a hockey player get included with the other stars of the Big 4 sports. Kane was in the Olympic commercials, and here are some of his other commercials from the past including the EA Sports.and the Discover Card commercials

Kane is a marketable young superstar in the a big market so it makes sense with the other teams in Chicago struggling that Kane makes it as Chicago’s big star right now, and like a big star of the past from Chicago he gets to be in a Gatorade commercial.

What do you think of Kane in the new Gatorade commercial?
