Evan Brophey Days Until The Blackhawks Season Opener

We had so much fun doing our Countdown to Faceoff series last season that we decided to do it again.  In case you’re new to the series, we’ll do a roster preview as we count down the days until the Chicago Blackhawks  October 9th season opener against the Dallas Stars.

Well we have more players that have wore #47 than yesterdays #48 but again if any future Blackhawk wants to own a number without much history #47 is the number for them.  Here’s a quick look at the very brief history of #47

Adam Bennett 1992-1993

Penalty Minutes-20

Bennett’s short stay with the Hawks ended with a trade to the Edmonton Oilers for Kevin Todd.

Lasse Kukkonen 2004

Assists-10

+3

Penalty Minutes-34

Martin St. Pierre

Evan Brophey- Brophey played in one game in 2011 and like a lot of these one game people I don’t remember him at all.

Which #47 do you remember most or do you not recall any of them?

Be on the lookout for our Countdown to Faceoff series as we continue to work our way to the season opener on October 9th. We’re 48 days from the season opener.  Is it October yet???
