Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks after a very slow week on the ice, but extremely busy week off the ice are back at it on the United Center ice, and they have the NHL’s best team so far in the regular season the Washington Capitals making their only stop in Chicago this season.

The Hawks will have some of their new toys on the ice today, with Andrew Ladd and Tomas Fleischmann both getting to Chicago, but it doesn’t look like Dale Weise will be in Chicago for a while due to visa issues.  It’s the third player this year to get tied up with the visa issue which seems really weird with both Marcus Kruger and Richard Panik struggling for a week or so to get their visa.

So by the time Weise gets his visa cleared it should be about the time Marian Hossa will be returning from injury and then it will be all systems go until the Stanley Cup playoffs. But today it’s time to get to work since Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Stan Bowman has put together a roster to make a run at back to back Stanley Cup Championships.

It’s gameday against the Eastern Conference’s best, and here are some morning links to kick off your Sunday Gameday.
