Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! For the second straight Wednesday night the Chicago Blackhawks will be one of the featured teams on NBCSN’s Rivalry night, and for the second straight week the title actually fits unlike a month ago when they faced the New York Rangers on rivalry night.

The Chicago Blackhawks will be traveling to the city of the Arch to face a team that we all hate, but I truly believe in the back of all Hawks fans minds believe they will beat in a 7 game series if they meet up in the playoffs.  They did meet up in 2014 in the first round and as we all know Game #5 had one Pat Foley’s best calls of his career.

The best part of tonight is the fact that Marian Hossa is likely to play today meaning that the Hawks will be one step closer to being back to completely healthy before the playoffs. The only missing piece is the one piece that got a pay raise yesterday and that pieces name is Marcus Kruger.

It was nice to see Kruger who sacrificed money this season to get a nice extension, they only problem is that this is the salary cap era and the cap looks to be going in the wrong direction. We all trust Stan Bowman though.

It’s Gameday for the Blackhawks against another hated rival, I can’t wait for puck drop, while we wait here are some morning links to kick off your Wednesday.
