Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks are on their bye week, and after one day this week really is going to be boring.

The Chicago Blackhawks are on their bye week which I’m sure looking into the future is a fantastic thing, but when you are hitting a week with no games it’s really going to be a drag of a week.

The one thing about this break is that it really seems to come at the worst possible time with the Blackhawks starting to show some real chemistry on all four lines, and they are starting to score goals again which is always fun to watch.

It’s been a while since the Hawks scored 10 goals in two games which should make all those 20% of fans that have stopped watching the Hawks this season come back.  I do know  that when you start daydreaming a bit about in February besides winter ending is that it’s April and the playoffs beginning.

The Hawks beat the Wild this week, but if you watched their game Sunday it doesn’t look like they are going to be slowing down enough for the Blackhawks to pass them up for the top spot in the Central Division especially with them still having 3 games in hand in the middle of February.

I guess we just will be watching other teams around the Central Division and the NHL this week to push out the boredom (or watch pitchers and catchers report)
