Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks have now defeated the Minnesota Wild twice in the last two weeks, including last night’s 5-3 win in St. Paul.

One thing is for certain, the two games that the Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild have played in the last two weeks have been highly entertaining with some good play from the goalies yet 15 goals in both contests.

Of course the star of the game last night was Jonathan Toews who picked up his fourth career hat trick, and a 5 point game which is a rare thing to have in the past 20 years while wearing a Chicago Blackhawks uniform.

The funny thing about the game is that during the morning skate interviews Joel Quenneville said that the Toews line with Richard Panik and Nick Schmaltz was become a dangerous line, and that’s exactly what they were last night which included a highlight reel pass and goal from Schmaltz to Toews.

The Chicago Blackhawks are still in 2nd place in the Central, but their game looks to be back with plenty of puck possession while scoring a lot of goals each night.  This team worried me in the early going of the season, but the kids are starting to play some real good hockey just in time for the stretch run.
