Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks are red hot, and tonight they will host their hated rival the St. Louis Blues.

The Chicago Blackhawks have won 8 out of 9 games with their only blemish being the first game back from their bye week, and tonight they host the St. Louis Blues at the United Center.

The Blackhawks offense is what’s carrying them right now with the Hawks biggest two stars Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane picking up Hat Tricks on back to back nights which was the first time that had happened in 20 seasons for the Blackhawks.

It’s not just the stars that are scoring, but role players and young kids that are scoring night in and night out.  The player I think most fans are most excited about lately has to be Nick Schmaltz.  The Blackhawks rookie is on a 3 game point streak, and all of a sudden the game seems to be clicking for Schmaltz with him scoring and creating scoring chances for Toews and Richard Panik.

We will most likely get to see the newest Blackhawks Tomas Jurco tonight who if you believe the reports was on Stan Bowman’s list so expect to see him get every opportunity to find his game with the Blackhawks between now and the playoffs.

The Hawks keep scoring 5 goals a night like we flashed back to the 1980’s, and i’m perfectly fine with that, and I hope it continues again tonight against the Blues.
