Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks travel to the Sunshine State in the middle of Spring Break for a couple of games starting with tonight’s matchup against the Florida Panthers.

The Chicago Blackhawks if you haven’t heard have an 8 point lead over the Minnesota Wild in the race for first place in the Central Division.  The Hawks are the only team currently in the Western Conference with over 100 points on the season.

The Hawks will be looking to do a couple of things over the next few games besides getting some sunshine on this road trip.  They will be looking for wins to secure the top spot in the Central while resting some players down the stretch so that everyone is ready for the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The Chicago Blackhawks biggest thing now is to stay healthy and get Artem Anisimov healthy which will make for some interesting roster decisions to be forced on Joel Quenneville for the playoffs.

The Hawks looked to be out of energy on Thursday night, so it will be interesting to see what teams shows up in South Florida.  Either way we get to watch a living legend in Jaromir Jagr tonight so make sure enjoy the show!
