Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks head to their second stop on their Florida trip as they battle the Lightning in Tampa Bay on Monday night.

The Chicago Blackhawks had their worst game in a few years on Saturday night when they were blown out 7 zip in South Florida.  The Chicago Blackhawks didn’t look too interested in playing and the outcome shows that a team with no sense of urgency no matter how much talent on the roster can get blown out on any night.

Tonight’s contest is against the team they faced off against in the 2015 Stanley Cup Final which may give the Chicago Blackhawks a little more reason to play tonight, that and well just getting embarrassed the game before can give a little more purpose in your skating.

The Lightning still have an outside shot at making the playoffs as a Wild Card, and despite all their injuries.  I’m sure they are a team that no one in the East wants to open up against in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The Chicago Blackhawks haven’t been on top of their game this past week which is ok with the playoffs still a couple weeks away, but not showing up at all like Saturday night is just unacceptable.   The question tonight is which team shows up in Tampa.
