Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks looked like they were playing a meaningless game in early April in Anaheim last night as they got shut out 4-0 on the road in their second to last regular season game of the season.

Coach Joel Quenneville sat veteran stars Marian Hossa, Duncan Keith, Jonathan Toews and Brent Seabrook last night against the Anaheim Ducks which I’m all for with nothing on the line heading into the playoffs last night.

There were some interesting line combo’s, but Coach Q did let Artemi Panarin play and try to get to his incentive contract which has to be a huge deal in the locker room.  Let Stan Bowman worry about the salary cap!

Anyways, the Hawks got shut out in a game very few I believe stayed up to watch. I assume everyone was like me and thought hey, I have to be up for work early Friday sleep seems like a way better option.

The Hawks have one more game against the LA Kings on Saturday which everyone thought heading into the season would be a Stanley Cup threat, but for the second straight season they are on the outside looking into to the playoff picture.

The Hawks lost one last night, but in the end some vets got some much needed rest before the real season starts next week!
