Good morning Chicago Blackhawks Fans! The 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs start tonight for some teams, but for the Chicago Blackhawks and their fans it starts tomorrow.

Coach Joel Quenneville gave us a little insight into what the team will look like when the Chicago Blackhawks take to the ice against the Nashville Predators Thursday night  when we got to see who will be on the 4 lines at practice yesterday.

The only surprise to me is that Coach Q has chosen to sit Dennis Rasmussen because of his play on the penalty kill which stands out a whole lot more during the playoffs.

It does say something about how John Hayden played in his small sample size since joining the Chicago Blackhawks after his college season ended.  I expected he would get a game or two  or three when he arrived, but he proved to Coach Q and the coaching staff that he belongs on the ice for even the playoffs since he arrived.

It was good to see Artem Anisimov back at practice, hopefully the chemistry of the 2nd line won’t take long to gel once again, and they will be back to their dominant selves when it all starts tomorrow night!
