Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks had their final presser of the season as the team cleaned out the locker room.  There was one word that was spoken more than any other, and that was the word unacceptable.

Stan Bowman spoke first, and was very upset from the top of the organization about how the Chicago Blackhawks were embarrassed in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. To me the biggest thing to be embarrassed about was the lack of intensity and zero sense of urgency in any of the four games.

Stan called the season a complete failure which I disagree with, but i will say that the postseason was a complete and utter failure.

The biggest thing for me is that the Hawks have to stop bringing back all the past champions, and I know I thought bringing back Johnny Oduya would be the missing piece on the blue line as well.  Stop with the old and keep bringing in new younger pieces.

Sure Ryan Hartman and Nick Schmaltz kind of shrunk in the first round of the playoffs, but that’s what almost every rookie does including Brandon Saad until they get a full season under their belts.  It’s time to develop the Gustav Forsling‘s instead of force feeding Michal Rozsival!

Thanks for being upset Joel Quenneville, but that anger should have been in the series against Nashville not after at a press conference.
