Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks season is over, and the 2nd round of the playoffs have begun.  All we have is updates of which Chicago Blackhawks are playing at the World, which players are staying home and resting up.

The NHL playoffs 2nd round started up last night, and it wasn’t a nightmare, the Chicago Blackhawks are still out of the playoffs watching the games just like us on their TV at home.

The biggest updates of the day was the fact that Trevor van Riemsdyk will be playing for Team USA at the Worlds.  Of course, I think everyone was hoping to be able to watch Patrick Kane play for Team USA, but after much thought decided not to play this go around.

Part of me is kind of worried that Kane isn’t playing at the World’s only because to me Kane is like Michael Jordan in the fact that he plays for the love of the game.  You hear about him playing in men’s leagues during the summer so when he doesn’t want to play for Team USA it makes me worry about on how much he still loves the game.

On the flip side, maybe he is worn out and just wants a break, and if this is the case I’m like you is perfectly fine with Kane missing the Worlds. Hopefully, he can come back with another 100 point season next season.
