Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks for the second straight season are not playing in the Month of May, and now it’s not just the fans that are upset about the Blackhawks play but Stan Bowman seems just as upset as the fans.

After a run of Two Stanley Cup Championships and bowing out in a Game #7 in overtime of the Conference Championship, it’s safe to say that Chicago Blackhawks fans had gotten spoiled watching their team play late into May or June.

This though being the 2nd straight season where the Chicago Blackhawks have bowed out of the playoffs before the calendar has said May is totally unacceptable, and this year is really a shock to the system.

I never thought this was a team that was going to be the #1 seed in the Western Conference at the beginning of the year.  I felt there were too many questions with the youth that was going to have to play big minutes.  I thought this was a building year for Coach Q and the kids.

Well, the Chicago Blackhawks play and the play of Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews in the month of February changed everyone’s thoughts including mine only because the Hawks had won a lot of tight low scoring games in November and December thanks to Corey Crawford.

If you asked me in November could you see the Hawks losing in the first round i would have said it’s possible, but after finishing first it was unacceptable.  But was it a mirage or reality?  That is the question!
