Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! It’s that time of year when the rumors get really serious, and it seems like every time you hop on social media there is a new juicy Chicago Blackhawks trade rumor to read about.

Of course, the reason there are so many Chicago Blackhawks trade rumors is that little nugget Jay Zawaski said about there being a core member of the Hawks getting traded this summer to help the Hawks relieve some cap space.

So, there they are Patrick Kane to the New Jersey Devils for the first pick of the draft which seems about as ridiculous as possible.  There is also a Patrick Kane to the Buffalo Sabres which is plausible  because I’m sure Kane’s only city he would wave his no trade clause is his hometown, but let’s be honest why would the Chicago Blackhawks trade their best player in his prime.  Like someone said that’s like letting Bobby Hull walk to Winnipeg back in the day.

So the newest target of trade rumors has to be Niklas Hjalmarsson who now is linked to the Montreal Canadiens.

The only thing about this deal is that it would eventually cost the Chicago Blackhawks in having to pay Galchenyuk.
