Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Summer Solstice

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Hey, it’s finally the first day of summer which means that we are only 3 months away from fall and it almost being the start of the NHL season! 

Hello Summer!! It’s my least favorite season mainly because I lived in Florida for 17 years which is like having summer for 11 months of the year and winter for 1 month.  At least now living in Tennessee I get a few weeks of spring and a few more of fall so summer isn’t so terrible now.

So anyways, as the NHL tries to steal from the NFL and NBA and try to stay in the news all year round, we had the big Adidas NHL Jersey reveal yesterday.  Here were the early leaked jerseys because nothing is ever not leaked on Twitter or Facebook anymore.

The Chicago Blackhawks jersey was basically not touched which is a good thing, but the one jersey that really didn’t look good to me in the update to Adidas was the Nashville Predators. Oh by the way it has nothing to do with them sweeping the Hawks.  I like their yellow jerseys and helmets, but this update looks more like a t-shirt or shirsey than a NHL sweater.

So today should be fun and full of news since I work 7-6 tomorrow.  We have the expansion draft and possibly a trade of Marcus Kruger to the Knights just for fun.  It should be a fun couple of days!
