Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The NHL Schedule was released yesterday which has me saying one thing, Is It October Yet?

The biggest difference on the NHL schedule for the upcoming season is the two visits to Las Vegas for the Chicago Blackhawks and their fans.

Both trips to Vegas are on Tuesday night which doesn’t make for convenient trips out to Sin City unless you throw in the Arizona game before heading out to Vegas.

If you didn’t see the schedule here is our tweet on a good format to read it.

The other noticeable thing about the schedule is the fact that there is no Circus trip in November this year, but there is an extended road trip at the end of December and early January, but there is a Winter Break in the middle of that trip.

Like most seasons, the Hawks do have an extended home stand in January which is when the Hawks usually make their move most seasons.  The sad part about the entire schedule release is knowing that Hossa will not be a part of the season.
