Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Convention Finale

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The 10th Annual Chicago Blackhawks convention comes to an end today, and with it will be the super lull of the summer! 

The Chicago Blackhawks haven’t played a game since the end of the month of April, but even without any action on the ice, there have been the playoffs, the draft, free agency, and prospect camp.

The real doldrums of summer hit for Chicago Blackhawks fans after today when absolutely nothing happens in the NHL for over a month.

There will be no Chicago Blackhawks news, All the NHL writers are on vacation, and the only tweets you get from anyone is from cottages in Canada.

So with that being said we are 74 days away from opening night which means enjoy the last day at the convention.  Our Sean Fitzgerald has been at the convention this week, and he’s been tweeting from there all weekend and even got on Channel 7’s coverage!

I really wish there was more prospect camp, but the next thing on the calendar will be the prospect rookie tournament in Traverse City September 8-12.  Then we will really see what Alex DeBrincat can do with the bigger boys.
