‘Hawks ship Aaron Johnson to Flames for Greentree
By Jeffrey Bartl

The Blackhawks sent defenseman Aaron Johnson to the Calgary Flames for left wing prospect Kyle Greentree. Greentree was assigned to Rockford following the deal and has appeared in only four NHL games. With the blows dealt to the ‘Hawks depth at forward, the acquisition of Greentree should provide a reinforcement if the injuries should nag.
Greentree finished second in the AHL in goals last year with 36 while playing for the Quad City Flames. View his stats here.
