The Daily Phil Esposito (1/5/11)

By Unknown author

There were nine former Hawks that took the ice last night, putting together three assists as the only points scored. One of the nine was a drunk goalie who just keeps losing. Sorry, I still don’t have too much energy after surgery, but tomorrow there will be a more in depth Espo, I promise, well unless the former feather heads decide not to show up…

Ethan Moreau – Columbus
5:12 TOI

Sammy Pahlsson – Columbus
16:48 TOI, minus one, one shot, 5 of 17 on face-offs

Martin Havlat – Minnesota
15:02 TOI, one assist (27), 2 PIM, four shots
Assist came on a wacky goal off a dump-in that hit a partition and bounced in. Also, Ilya Kovalchuk notched his 21st point of the season, and 10th goal… 15 years for 100 mil and this is all he is producing? Wow…

John Madden – Minnesota
13:32 TOI, 4 of 9 on face-offs

Cam Barker – Minnesota
16:19 TOI

Colin Fraser – Edmonton
8:27 TOI, minus one, one shot, 2 of 7 on face-offs

Nikolai Khabibulin – EdmontonLoss (16), 32 saves on 37 shots, .865 SV%

Adrian Aucoin – Phoenix
21:53 TOI, one assist (14), 2 PIM

Radim Vrbata – Phoenix
18:10 TOI, one assist (14), five shots

Thank you to Deb, for an email informing me that I was forgetting Scott Nichol. Again, if anyone finds a former Hawk I am forgetting please let me know!
