Blackhawks News

So Close….

By Keith Schultz

The Chicago Blackhawks have four different scenerios available tonight that will secure their spot in the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

First scenario is the easiest- Get one point tonight in their battle versus the  Nashville Predators. Well, maybe it won’t be the easiest since the Hawks have only been able to get one point out of 10 possible versus the Predators. Getting a point on the road against the Nashville will be a tough task, but if successful will be a good confidence booster for the playoffs as well as the clincher.

2nd scenario-The LA Kings lose in any fashion to the Minnesota Wild

Scenario 3- The Phoenix Coyotes lose in regulation to the Anaheim Ducks

Last scenario- San Jose Sharks do not win in overtime or shoot-out over the Dallas Stars

Its seems almost impossible that one of these scenarios doesn’t happen (being a Cubs fan anything is possible), but it would be the most satisfying that the clinching spot for the playoffs would come from a hard fought division win tonight in Nashville. Either way it will be great to have our ticket punched with 3 games to play than to replay last years final day!  Get it done tonight!!!

Let’s Go HAWKS!!!!
