The second casualty of lock down 2012 was announced today.  All September pre-season games have been cancelled.  The Chicago Blackhawks were scheduled to have four of their six preseason games in September which of course leaves the two October games still on the schedule as of today. I really wouldn’t keep your fingers crossed too long for the last two preseason game

As for the lockout talks, both sides have been in communication but no formal talks have been scheduled which is disappointing from both sides.  Both sides need to get into the negotatiing game and get a deal done!

As of today the lockout has cost the fans

1. Training Camp Festival

2. September Pre Season Games

3. TBA

Hopefully this list doesn’t get any longer, but with the minimal if any progress in negotiations its quite possible the list will end with season cancelled
