So the Chicago Blackhawks that didn’t get shipped to Rockford that want to play some hockey get to do it the old fashion way, they have to call the neighborhood ice rinks and find out who has open ice time. Granted they probably won’t have to be squeezed in between beer league hockey teams at the local rinks, but due to not being able to use the team facilities the Blackhawk players that are sticking around Chicago for the time being get to share locker rooms with Joe Schmo!
There hasn’t been any Blackhawk players that have officially signed in the KHL or other European teams, but according to Twitter accounts Patrick Kane is considering playing in Russia,Sweden, or Switzerland. I’m sure he could have a great time partying while in Europe it would be a whole new continent for him to conquer!
Some of the players that were reportedly practicing at a local ice rink today were Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Patrick Sharp, Marcus Kruger, Steve Montador, Johnny Oduya, Daniel Carcillo, Jamal Mayers, Brian Campbell, Ben Eager and Troy Brower. It would be so much better if they were preparing for training camp rather than skating in between open skates (rental skates only $1).
Still no negotations between the NHL and NHLPA…. 0 percent of anything is 0, and the NHL will become the NASL real soon!! Get talking!!
LET’S GO HAWKS
END THE LOCKOUT!!!
