On This Date in Chicago Blackhawks history,
November 17, 1926 The Chicago Blackhawks at old Chicago Coliseum played their first NHL game. The Blackhawks won their first game 4-1 against the Toronto St. Patricks. It would be eight season until this new franchise would go on to win it’s first Stanley Cup in 1934.
Happy 86th birthday Blackhawks! Too bad there are no games today to celebrate at!
