Typical Use Of Taxpayers Money

As usual the federal government stepped in and accomplished nothing. Two days of federal mediation with nothing to report except that there are not any new meetings planned.  Both NHL and NHLPA are ruining a great game by misjudging the peoples disdain for this lockout.  Donald Fehr has really buttoned down the hatches of the NHLPA and Gary Bettman and the owners aren’t moving either.

The only movement left is the dollar bills that all the fans are putting back in their wallets and purses by not attending games or buying the NHL Pass to see their favorite team play.  It’s not shocking that nothing was accomplished by the mediation the last two days, but it is quite disappointing. Two seasons lost in seven years will be inexcusable.  With the feds done this season is now on life support with Gary and Donald ready and willing to pull the plug!
