At A Loss For Words

I’m at a loss for words after reading all the accounts of yesterday’s disaster of a negotations. Sadly when Donald Fehr and Gary Bettman were re-introduced back to the CBA negoatition it broke down again.
I fear that Donald Fehr when growing up was always the last one picked on any and all sandlot games, and so now his sinister goal in life is to shut down every major sporting organization. I truly HATE this man and what he has done to baseball and now hockey. He obviously is not a sports fan and he doesn’t understand where hockey is in the overall picture of American sports today.
Hockey was just starting to heal from the last season loss with great Stanley Cup playoffs and ratings that were improving. There is also at least in Chicago a growing young fan base that will now look to the NFL and NBA for it’s sports fix.
I could go on for paragraph after paragraph at the stupidity of both sides from the owners trying to squeeze every last ounce of dollars out of the players while they possibly can, to the players inability to be flexible from their percentage stance.
I’m not in the room but they need to get one thing through both sides heads and that is the fact that the NHL is a fringe sport and it’s going to sink further and further away from major sports if it continues to kill off seasons with no apparent guilt.
